In this point and click style adventure you will:
Lie, steal and commit light arson in order for justice to prevail,
Outsmart the criminal, your incompetent colleagues and the fierce police superintendent,
Use the most advanced fingerprint matching technology from 1983,
Clean up suspiciously penis-like graffiti in the toilets,
Get confused by British slang (unless you are British, in which case, well done),
Probably get chat to look up a walkthrough to solve the basement puzzle (yeah, this has happened),
Wonder if what’s happening on the CCTV footage is actually more worthy of investigation.
Blurb
He hates crime. All Inspector Dermot Dervish likes less are early mornings, his boss, and any technology from the last thirty years. But he won’t need any of these. Armed with his trusty notebook, razor wit, and an assistant who’s trying to pretend she’s not a traffic warden, only Dermot can solve a series of shocking and intriguing murders, and bring the city’s criminal scum to justice.
Or let them go if he thinks they’ve got a good enough reason.

The game uses controller or keyboard (WASD or arrows, E use, Q inventory, esc settings menu),
Despite being in the point and click style, the character movement was inspired by Night in the Woods,
Par completion time is 35 minutes but has varied between 20 and an hour,
Game autosaves,
The full game will feature three murder mysteries, each featuring a Phoenix Wright style denouement scene to unmask the killer. Things will also get darker and more psychological,
Mood power ups will help you question suspects with empathy, alert you to danger, or give you the assertiveness to not take any crap,
"Five Day" comes from how long Dermot has to solve each murder- because that's all the police station can budget for.
